Telephone reports are attached to the same observer profile, observing site, active session, scientific model, and scheduler used by the website. The service recalculates each target for the saved location and the exact call time.

No ready, active, or paused observing session is linked. Create and save an observing session before calling.
Set a private 4–8 digit PIN. Caller ID is optional and lets the service recognize your phone automatically; the raw number is never stored. If automatic recognition succeeds, the call intentionally skips the PIN question.
Normal reports use the keypad to keep the call reliable and inexpensive. Press 1 not seen, 2 possible, 3 confirmed, 4 uncertain, 5 unable to check, 6 repeat, 7 defer, 8 voice note, 9 report another star, or 0 end. Speech recognition opens only when a voice note or another-star name is requested. After every report, the shared scheduler selects another eligible target; if none is due in the saved session at that moment, the call ends without inventing a target.
